Criminal Justice Advocacy

We offer services that help victims navigate the criminal justice system. These services consist of accompaniment to court proceedings, and referrals to victim service providers.

Case Management

Our case management services provide support to individuals with various challenges, by empowering them with advocacy, assistance, and information that caters to their needs. This approach helps individuals make informed decisions while accessing essential resources, leading to an overall enhancement of their quality of life.

 Law Enforcement Availability

Our collaboration with Schuyler County law enforcement includes providing private office space to meet with victims when a safe and confidential location is needed.

Counseling Services

We aim to help individuals manage emotional and psychological difficulties through various services including individual and/or group therapy, emotional support, and expert counselors. The goal is to help clients develop tools to live with emotional stability, self-awareness, and mental well-being.

Compensation Claims

The government offers a program called crime victim compensation to pay victims and their families for expenses incurred from being a victim of crime. However, not all victims are eligible and the program only pays after other resources have been exhausted. Advocates are available to assist in completing a compensation claim.
